COOK — JOB POSTING

Job Duties

  • Wash, cut, and prepare ingredients for cooking
  • Assist the Chef in executing menu items and plating dishes
  • Cook food according to standardized recipes and kitchen procedures
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards
  • Organize storage areas, track inventory, and report shortages
  • Receive and store food supplies in accordance with sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with the Chef and kitchen team to ensure efficient service

Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Team player with reliable work habits and positive attitude
  • Understanding of safe food handling and sanitation
  • Training provided for suitable candidates

Benefits

  • Overtime rate of 1.5× hourly wage after 40 hours/week or 8 hours/day
  • Saskatchewan standard 5.77% (or 3 weeks) vacation pay
